F.lli Razeto & Casareto is a company that has always provided the market with the highest quality standards. With a history spanning 100 years, it has transitioned from supplying spare parts for ships to creating products for merchant vessels, including coat hooks, locks, and handles. Among its most original projects are the hermetically sealed round portholes and the patented rectangular window, which have enabled the company to grow and become a global leader. Italian design aboard ocean liners, from the Andrea Doria to the Cristoforo Colombo, and the twin ships Michelangelo and Raffaello, has reached new heights today, with F.lli Razeto & Casareto’s creativity and design becoming a benchmark in the world of yachting.
The new millennium began with a search for increasingly sophiticated design, and the innovation of the offering was embodied in one of the most versatile and innovative products, the “Free Go” handle. This revolutionary design transformed the handle into a stylish and trendy element. Combined with fixed mechanics, the handle can be customized in its grip based on the owner’s requests.
The new product line achieved extraordinary success and received international awards and mentions year after year.
Shortly after, the luminous handle and many other innovations emerged, leading F.lli Razeto & Casareto to establish the “Innovation & Design Lab” in 2009, allowing for the design and creation of unique pieces like the “Tribute to Doha” handle, crafted in gold and diamond dust.
The new "IROS " line
Craftsmanship, design, and research come together to create unique products, allowing the company to secures top positions in the luxury accessories market.
From this long series of successes, Andrea Razeto aims to introduce a product that embodies the tradition of the FR&C brand, which has been navigating the seas of the world for over a century.
The project was born to create a lamp that illuminates the historic brand and can become an exclusive design piece on board. This customizable product is ideal for enhancing any environment and showcasing the beauty of light. Unveiled at the last Genoa International Boat Show, the new “IROS” lamp, with its unique style, immediately attracted the attention of many shipyards. Customizable in size and with a cast inscription, it has already started generating buzz.
We asked Giangi Razeto about the inspiration behind this new element, which we are sure to see soon on many vessels.
“Let’s bring light to our logo; this was our first thought! FR & C, the brand that has always represented our company, had already given us experience in this area with luminous handles, which inspired us to create a new dimension to illuminate the spaces of vessels and, why not, homes. Today, our houses and boats have become places where we can find serenity and relaxation, even through light and objects that help us appreciate our surroundings. The ‘IROS’ lamp fits perfectly into this context of luxury and design, representing minimal elegance”.
F.lli Razeto & Casareto continues to explore new avenues to uphold the values that have made the company renowned all over the world. “Ours – says Andrea Razeto – is a family business with a great tradition. Flexibility, specialization, and continuous research are our fundamental values”.
