The huge international nautical event will open its doors in Florida from October 27th-31st, and there is great curiosity about the new superyachts that will be presented on this occasion by Ocean Alexander. The family-run boatyard is now in its second glorious generation,with two production plants in Taiwan and the States.
Two of the yachts on display in Fort Lauderdale will be part of the “Revolution” range, while the 118-foot flagship 37L is part of the “Legend” fleet. The yachts were all conceived by Evan K. M. Marshall, who carefully designed them.
Ocean Alexander will therefore confirm its established leadership in its target market with three superyachts. In fact, the boatyard is classified as the fourth shipbuilder in the globe and has a vast network of dealers all over the world.
The FLIBS will be the perfect occasion to show the US clientele (which accounts for 70% of Ocean Alexander’s sales) this year’s novelties. Ocean Alexander superyachts are sturdy, modern and not lacking in sportiness and super-luxurious features, therefore perfect for cruising the Caribbean seas for which they are designed, but not only.
Ocean Alexander 30R at FLIBS
The 30R is a 98-footer with excellent performance and breath-taking beauty. This is confirmed by the boat’s lines, which are sharp and gritty, with a vertical bow that flaunts an imposing dominance over the sea. Not surprisingly, the 30R is part of the “Revolution” range, whose name speaks for itself.
In terms of spaciousness and features, the 30R, despite being ‘only’ 30 meters long, is comparable to larger superyachts. Just look at the covered side-decks on the main deck and the exceptional aft living area. The saloon is almost completely windowed, from floor to ceiling, offering an almost total view.
As we were saying, the boat is sturdy, because the forward walls are really substantial and protect a very large foredeck. As for the flybridge, the owner can choose between the prestigious “enclosed” version and the “New Generation Pilothouse”, which is more open to the marine environment. As for the prestigious accommodation, the master cabin is on the main deck. Four additional cabins are located on the lower deck.
35R: a revolutionary yacht
The 35R is the icing on the cake 
of the Ocean Alexander “Revolution” range at FLIBS. Compared to the 30R, she boasts a centreboard that is further aft, while the foredeck is virtually endless. It is perhaps the Beach-Club that is the most interesting part of this superyacht. At sea level, entertainment seems to find no limits: television, bar, shower, sauna and gym are all directly accessible. There is also an electrically-operated platform for ‘acrobatic’ dives.
37L: simply legendary
The flagship of the “Legend” range, the 37L, is dedicated to the aft area, where the Beach Club is ideal for relaxing or entering the 
water without too many obstacles. But what stands out, apart from the ingenious concept, is mainly the very high-quality interior. 118 feet long, the 37L also features a dining area capable of accommodating at least ten people in total comfort. As for storage levels on board, the 37L is absolutely the ideal boat for long-range cruises and has plenty of space: starting with the immense galley, where there are also many fine decorative elements, such as the abundant use of satin (premium) steel and the very special wine cooler.
With the 37L “luxury is in your hands”, they say in the Ocean Alexander marketing department corridors, and looking at how sublimely rounded the galley is on the bow side, we can only confirm this.
