Three Monte Carlo businessmen, including Fiart Mare partner AllDutch Yachting, will raise funds to support Mercy Ships, a global humanitarian aid organization. Mercy Ships is committed to providing free surgical care to the world’s most vulnerable populations, particularly in Africa. Each year, thanks to donors and the efforts of more than 3,000 volunteers, they perform more than 2,000 surgeries. For more than 45 years, hospital ships such as theAfrica Mercy and Global Mercy have been sailing and bringing medical care to where it is needed most.
Since 1978, thanks to donations and the work of volunteers , more than two million people have been treated and more than one hundred thousand surgeries have been performed. More than 6,000 operations are performed on board each year, and more than 3,000 doctors receive more than 300,000 hours of vital medical training on board.
