Francesco Paskowski designs the new Baglietto T60
A new superyacht is making its way into the world of yacht design and it could only be signed by Francesco Paskowski. The T60 is Baglietto’s latest addition, launched during the recent Monaco Yacht Show 2022, and represents the natural evolution of the T52 and the seagull brand’s traditional line. The new 60-metre, 1,000 GT project features soft lines reinterpreted in a contemporary key, made more fluid by the lightened side powers that merge into the structure of the ceiling, appearing almost suspended. The slender effect is enhanced by the black glass strip that incorporates the portholes, a recognizable feature of all the latest Baglietto yachts.
Mr. Paskowski has succeeded in maintaining a consistent style while completely overhauling the layout of the yacht: the distinction between open and closed, between sea and land, between inside and outside is no longer perceived. The large, full-height windows generate airy spaces in harmony with the sea all around, thanks to the possibility of disappearing entirely: the saloon and upper deck open up to open-air life, transforming into more formal spaces in the evening while maintaining a continuous connection with the seascape. It is precisely the creation of fluid environments that is the design feature of the Baglietto T60, which has been designed so that guests can enjoy a single space open to socializing and the sea.
Baglietto T60 : Suite and accomodation
The owner’s suite is the beating heart of the main deck. It is accessed from a midship lobby via a glass lift. The spacious room has a sleeping area with a private head, a sitting area and a small terrace that can also be used while underway. For the more discerning owner, there is also the option of converting the entire upper deck into a true Owner’s deck, with a custom-made configuration.
Guests can stay in four cabins, two VIPs and two guests, located on the lower deck, while forward on the same deck is the crew area with six cabins for 11 crew; the captain’s room is on the upper deck, behind the helm station.
Interconnected spaces
The 60-square-metre beach lounge areas with a marble swimming pool at water level are naturally integrated with the main saloon and the bar and dining area, connected by a neoclassical staircase.
The entire under lower deck is given over to technical spaces and amidships is a haute cuisine kitchen; the bow accommodates a touch and go landing strip for the helicopter.
The upper deck once again offers a lounge and dining area that can be fully opened up thanks to large windows on three sides; the sundeck is enriched with a Jacuzzi for maximum sea-view comfort.
Lastly, the garage forward of the main deck is designed to accommodate a 23” tender together with two jet skis and a rescue tender. The Baglietto T60 will be equipped with two CAT C32 Acert engines capable of guaranteeing a maximum speed of 16 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots. Upon request, the boat can also be equipped with hybrid propulsion.
