Ferretti Group is literally conquering the USA. It definitely demonstrated this at the FLIBS (Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show), where it exhibited a fleet of no less than nine boats, presented three premieres, and unveiled its marvellous, renovated American showroom.
A massive presence that, in addition to the conspicuous number of boats, almost all over 20 metres in length, covered almost all the group’s brands: Riva, Custom Line, Wally, Ferretti Yachts and Pershing.
Ferretti Group Premieres
The first of the three premieres is the Riva 102′ CORSARO SUPER: the new majestic flybridge yacht features three decks, five cabins and can accommodate up to 10 guests aboard. Like exteriors, the yacht is also extremely liveable, with 140 square metres of glass and glass surfaces that eliminate the boundaries between nature and the yacht. The real strength of this new model, however, is the aft area, completely redesigned and enlarged with a beach club of over 35 square metres.
The second premiere, also by Riva, is the 76′ BAHAMAS SUPER: a yacht with futuristic lines, convertible, renewed in terms of both space and comfort.
The C-Top is the flagship of this yacht: a convertible carbon roof with which it is possible to switch from open to coupé.
The last premiere presented at FLIBS, an epitome of Made in Italy, is Custom Line 106′, which revamps the brand’s planing line with its elegant and hydrodynamic design.
Equally noteworthy are the interiors which, designed by Francesco Paszkowski and Margherita Casprini, are distinguished by strong colour contrasts in both furnishings and upholstery.
There is also great excitement about the much-awaited Pershing GTX116, which will be launched in 2023 but which has already found much praise among American owners who have said they are enthusiastic about the new model.
Ferretti Group’s new showroom
Adding even more value to the group’s American presence at FLIBS was the important inauguration of the completely renovated Ferretti Group showroom in Fort Lauderdale. It is the largest covered showroom built in the States, with has no less than 12 covered berths, offices and a customer welcome area.
The activities of the showroom will be in addition to those of the existing Service Yard, which provides customer assistance and refit services. Also exclusive is the Riva corner, the private area, reminiscent of the Riva Lounges present in the rest of the world.
Charity
Another important initiative, also communicated during this event, was the Ferretti Group‘s decision to organize a large charity event in favour of the children of El Salvador, constantly threatened by violence.
To help them, the company decided to auction off one of the 18 Riva Anniversario models, produced in a limited edition, to celebrate the shipyard’s 180th anniversary. An initiative that also sees the commitment of 7 Fund and David Beckham, UNICEF ambassador since 2005.
The footballer, who has been a spokesman for the United Nations Children’s Fund for many years, decided to set up 7 Fund in 2015 to help children around the world by providing them with better healthcare, education and the protection they need.
The funds will be raised through a silent auction that will end in Miami on 16 February 2023 when the beautiful yacht will be awarded to the most generous bidder and, most importantly, the proceeds will be entirely donated to the children of El Salvador.
An exciting project of which both Ferretti Group and David Beckham, are very proud, as the footballer himself reports:
“I am so pleased to see how we are helping children in El Salvador. The projects we support there protect the many children who live in the shadow of violence. I thank Ferretti Group for supporting this cause that is very close to my heart.”
