Set to launch in spring 2022, CRN has released further details on hull number 142, the 52M currently under construction at Ancona yard. CRN, in partnership with architecture and design studio, Omega Architects has designed its innovative and sleek exterior design. Whilst the bespoke interior has been created by interior architects, Massari Design.
The fully custom, all aluminium yacht is 499GT at 52M long and has a 9M beam with four spacious decks. The inventive design enables visual and functional utility between indoor and outdoor living spaces, whilst holding up to ten guests in five staterooms.
The Massari designed interiors are simple and elegant, comprising of warm, natural colour combinations. The light-filled interiors are facilitated by the use of floor to ceiling windows, enhancing natural light and accentuating the connectivity between interior and exterior.
This use of glass is continued with mirrored surfaces, enhancing light and “an immersive sensation of limitless space.” The main deck is a vast space with dining options in a large social area, connecting with an outdoor lounge, which includes a rectangular spa. Further forward, is the owner’s suite also with full-length windows, allowing for panoramic ocean views.
The upper deck is versatile and flexible for varying needs. The lounge functions as a social area or a cinema with a giant screen, which then opens up into a dining area through the sliding glass doors. This al-fresco dining area is protected with this glass panelling for dining opportunities whatever the weather.
This flexibility continues up on the sundeck, for sunbathing use in the daytime through to evening entertainment. The main feature here is the horseshoe-shaped lounge bar and dining area. The yacht also boasts a solarium and hydromassage pool on the bow.
Down on the Lower deck, there is a spacious “multifunctional leisure zone.” The beach club here allows easy access to watersports with a wide selection of toys available. The living area here features a relaxation room with a TV and bar, integrating into the wellness area with a hammam and shower.
The owner specifically wanted a superyacht with this design of “social zones” to allow for comfortable and versatile spaces which allow consistency and flow from inside to out. This CRN 52M captures the essence of enjoying open-air living throughout.
