The opening event of the nautical season, the Cannes Yachting Festival, will take place from September 10 to 15 along the Croisette, in the heart of the French Riviera. The International Yachting Media and the Cannes Yachting Festival are renewing their partnership this year.
With its six digital publications, The International Yachting Media disseminates yachting information worldwide in seven languages and will cover the Cannes Yachting Festival 2024 to highlight the latest news, world premieres, sea trials, and much more, ensuring maximum media exposure for shipyards.
From the Vieux Port to Port Canto, 600 exhibitors from around the world will display about 700 boats ranging from 5 to 50 meters, including sailboats, motorboats, monohulls, multihulls, rigid and semi-rigid boats, both new and used, along with hundreds of the latest equipment.
To mitigate the impact of significant modernization and transformation works at the Vieux Port, which began this year and will continue until 2026, the festival organizers have planned several new features, including the creation of a new marina dedicated to new motorboats starting from 8 meters.
The new marina is an ambitious project, with a vast and content-rich space: it spans over 1,700 m² and offers more than 300 meters of linear quay, allowing it to host 170 boats, including 150 in the water and about twenty on land, with rigid or semi-rigid hulls. In addition to the boats, a selection of outboard motors will be displayed on land next to the entrance of this area.
This year, for the first time, visitors will be able to take a complete tour of Port Canto (a loop of approximately 2.5 km) to discover nearly 340 boats (120 new boats over 10 meters, 170 power boats from 8 meters, and about 50 large used yachts from 24 meters) and numerous suppliers and service companies.
The Cannes Yachting Festival has been held every September since 1977 in the sparkling bay of Cannes, in a luxurious and elegant setting . As the first boat show of the nautical season, the Cannes Yachting Festival is the most important in-water event in Europe. It brings together the key players in the boating industry who showcase their numerous new products in preview.
