Baglietto DOM133: another unit sold

Another Baglietto DOM133 sold: the shipyard closes the year with no less than seven orders acquired.

2021 has been a stunning year for Baglietto which, confirming the positive trend of these months, scores the seventh sale of the season with another unit of the DOM133, a superyacht that is receiving great consensus.

Baglietto DOM133

The Stefano Vanadis-designed yacht stands out for its ability to combine large volumes – quite unusual for a superyacht of just 40 meters – with the features most requested by modern owners. Particularly noteworthy is the two-level beach club which, on the one hand, features an infinity pool with a liftable bottom and, on the other, increases the already generous size of the main deck cockpit.

The draft is limited and allows the DOM133 to navigate effortlessly in the shallow waters of the Caribbean where, thanks to the panoramic windows that can be opened, contact with the outside environment is amplified.

It is a 40-meter displacement yacht conceived around the idea of finding the same space and comfort in the boat as in a house by the sea,” says designer Stefano Vafiadis. – Hence the strong search for continuity with the natural element, the sea, thanks to the large sliding windows that also contribute to amplify the sense of space of the boat, already high thanks to a platform that exceeds 400 GT.

Aluminium was chosen for the construction of this superyacht, a high quality material that also makes it possible to easily implement all the customization requested by the owner.

The DOM 133 is powered by twin Caterpillar C32 engines that deliver a top speed of up to 17 knots.

We are very happy with this new order which confirms the excellence of this aluminium model designed with Stefano Vafiadis – says Fabio Ermetto, Baglietto CCO – A project that perfectly interprets the needs of today’s market, responding to the demands of an owner who wants both comfort and performance without sacrificing high levels of customization.

Baglietto

Baglietto specializes in the construction of new planing aluminium yachts from 38 to 50 meters and displacement and semi-displacement megayachts from 40 meters in steel and aluminium. Baglietto today has two production sites, in La Spezia (headquarter) and Carrara (operational headquarters). The La Spezia headquarters covers an area of approximately 35,000 square meters. In recent years, a major construction project has seen the renewal of the entire production plant with the construction, in La Spezia, of 3 new warehouses (the last one last year for vessels up to 65m and docks equipped to accommodate vessels up to 70m). The Carrara operating unit, on the other hand, has two areas of 5000 square meters each, one for the construction of military vessels, and the other, with four new sheds, for the construction of yachts of up to 50m. The activities of the shipyard foresee an important development not only in new constructions but also in the construction of military vessels under the brand name BAGLIETTO NAVY (at the moment there are 2 orders under construction for the Italian Navy).
